Dr. Ioannis Chatzistefanou is a certified Maxillofacial Surgeon, with a special interest in Aesthetic & Reconstructive Facial and Jaw Surgery, Surgical Oncology and Rehabilitation of the Oral, Jaw, and Facial area, and major restorations with Dental Implants. 

Dr. Hatzistefanou is a Military Doctor, a curator at the 424th General Medical Corps, an Excellent Doctor of Medicine of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and an Academic Fellow of Medicine of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with a specialization in surgical oncology and rehabilitation. He is also the Head of the 2nd Maxillofacial Clinic at the Athens and Inter-Balkan Medical Center of Thessaloniki and head of the Dental Implant Center of the Athens Medical Group.

He specialized in the USA (University of Maryland – Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center, Baltimore, USA), Great Britain (University College London Hopsital, Royal London Hospital, UK) and Greece (AUTH) and holds a European Union (UEMS) recognized Medical Specialty title in “Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery”

He has been awarded the “EXCELLENCE AWARD” by the Deanship of Health Sciences of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and specializes in 3D design and computer-guided surgery (IPS ( Individual Patient Solutions ).
