Dr. Monika Kiripolsky, a board-certified dermatologist, earned this distinction through the American Board of Dermatology after successfully completing a three-year residency in dermatology and dermatologic surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Kiripolsky is also a fellowship-trained cosmetic and laser surgeon, having completed a prestigious additional year of fellowship training through the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.

Prior to specializing in dermatology, Dr. Kiripolsky completed her intern year in internal medicine/critical care at the University of California-Irvine and the Long Beach Veterans’ Affairs Hospital. A California native, Dr. Kiripolsky earned her Bachelor of Science degree, magna cum laude, from the Honors College at the University of California – Los Angeles.
She attended Vanderbilt University’s School of Medicine, during which time she was awarded a position in their Medical Scholars Program. This entailed Dr. Kiripolsky to pursue a year of funded clinical research in between her third and fourth years of medical school. She also spent a portion of her training working in a dermatology clinic in Barcelona, Spain, while also lecturing on her research project findings at international conferences.
Dr. Kiripolsky’s research has focused upon various medical dermatology-related projects involving cutaneous lymphomas, basal cell carcinoma, lymphomatoid papulosis, and anaplastic large cell lymphoma. Her research in cosmetic surgery and lasers has focused upon a myriad of topics including sclerotherapy (the treatment of leg veins), the advanced use of various fillers and botulinum toxin preparations, endovenous laser ablation (and ambulatory phlebectomy) for varicose veins, as well as the use of various lasers and chemical peels for treating skin discoloration, scarring, wrinkles, skin laxity, tattoo-removal, hair removal, precancerous skin lesions and acne/rosacea (via photodynamic therapy).
Dr. Kiripolsky has published numerous articles in dermatology, dermatologic/cosmetic surgery, laser, phlebology, and plastic surgery journals; she has authored several textbook chapters. Dr. Kiripolsky is an international speaker, having presented her research at various dermatology, dermatologic surgery, vascular surgery and cosmetic surgery conferences. Dr. Kiripolsky’s interests include advanced facial rejuvenation using various fillers, biostimulatory molecules, as well as patients’ own fat from other areas of the body (autologous fat transfer), cosmetic laser surgery, photodynamic therapy, deep chemical peels, liposuction (using the tumescenttechnique), sclerotherapy, Botox/Dysport/Xeomin, as well as numerous other anti-aging treatments. Although Dr. Kiripolsky focuses on cosmetic procedures, as a board-certified dermatologist, she is also dedicated to the treatment of all dermatologic conditions including skin cancer screening/prevention/surgery, acne, rosacea, eczema, connective tissue disorders, vitiligo, and countless other skin conditions.

Dr. Kiripolsky is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, the American Society for Lasers in Medicine and Surgery, the Women’s Dermatology Society, the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, the American Society of Cosmetic Laser Surgery, and the American Society of Liposuction Surgery. She speaks English and conversational Spanish.Dr. Ivan Brooks graduated from the Chicago Medical School earning his MD and is a board-certified physician. He received advanced training at UCLA and is highly regarded for his non-surgical, efficient, and individualized approach to vein treatments. He has written various articles, including some that have been published on Los Angeles Mom Magazine.
